Taeyoung Kim, 21, was taken into custody for allegedly causing a crash that killed Marko Niketic, a Glenbrook South High School senior on May 12. The crash also left both passengers in each car hospitalized in critical condition.

Stewart's body was found outdoors in the Bellevue neighborhood early on Saturday morning after suffering a 'medical emergency'. Police say no foul play was suspected and officials believe Stewart suffered a medical episode. No further information about the cause of death or survivors was available on Sunday. Stewart's colleagues have taken to social media to share warm tributes following her shock death. CNN anchor Jim Acosta said: 'My heart is broken over the passing of our dear colleague Alice Stewart. Aaron Solomon delivered a eulogy at Grace Chapel Church, Franklin, Tennessee, to 4,300 parishioners just days after his 18-year-old son Grant's tragic death. The teen had been driving to meet his father on the morning of July 10, 2020, for a private pitching session at the Ward Performance Institute - around 50 miles away from his home in Franklin. After arriving at the facility, Grant's father called 911 to report that his son was trapped under his truck. He later died in hospital.

'God's Square Mile', a New Jersey Christian enclave, could be stopped from banning people from using public beaches on Sunday mornings.  The state of New Jersey is suing the religious group in a case that could result in the community being charged $25,000 a day in fines for violating beach access laws. The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, which owns all the land in the small town of Ocean Grove including the beach, claims the policy is in accordance with its religious belief about the Lord's Day.

One major city has emerged as stand out winner in the war on inflation - with prices rising at 2.6 percent. This is almost down to the Federal Reserve's 2 percent target, and is far lower than the higher national annual inflation rate of 3.4 per cent. The result is also is not a one-off, with the city holding its rate below 3 percent since October last year - and even falling to as low as 2.2 percent in February.

Indian-born real estate mogul Shashikant Jogani - known as Shashi - was awarded $7 billion by a jury after his brother Haresh, a uber-rich diamond dealer, tried to swindle him out of his stake in a multi-billion dollar real estate empire. 

The social media star, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, said she had been bullied after announcing a fundraiser for the UK-based charity Save the Children, adding that it 'hurt so bad' people were saying she didn't care about all kids. Ms Rachel, who has 9.7million YouTube followers and is known for her educational content for toddlers, offered to create personalised videos for children if people donate to the charity. She said in a social media post about the fundraiser: 'I'll make videos for little ones, and all the money raised on my end will go to Save the Children's emergency fund, which will go to children living in conflict in Gaza, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine.' 'Children should never experience the horrors of war,' she added. But while the personalised videos she offered on Cameo were snapped up within a few hours - raising £39,000 -, she was criticised by members of the Jewish community

As Covid-19 restrictions lifted in recent years across Europe, tourism has returned close to the levels seen before the pandemic - but some locals have had enough. This return to normalcy has also seen a rise in anti-tourism sentiment amongst locals living in the continent's travel hotspots, many of whom are urging officials to implement measures that limit the influx of visitors. Complaints range from a lack of affordable housing for locals (with dwellings instead being used as holiday accommodation), vast crowds making cities and towns unbearable during the busiest months, or simply the wrong type of tourists. While residents appreciate that tourism is vital for the local economy, patience is wearing thin, and although such tensions have always existed between locals and visitors, this appears to have become particularly pronounced in recent years. Angry protests and demonstrations against tourism have sprung up in countries including Spain , Italy , France and Greece , while officials in some regions have  begun to implement limits on visiting sightseers, or are considering their options. Here, MailOnline looks at some of the measures being put in place to limit visitors, and the lengths some locals are going to voice their anger.

They're the hotels that 'check all the boxes'. So says Tripadvisor of its top 25 UK and Channel Island hotels for 2024 - presented here in reverse order. The list, gleaned from Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Awards 'Best of the Best Hotels' category, comprises 'winning spots [that have] outstanding service, comfy rooms, the works', says Tripadvisor, which adds that fewer than one per cent of its eight million listings will ever be recognised in its awards.

The music PR industry has morphed from a small, relatively niche affair to the vast, multi-billion pound phenomenon it is today. And throughout it all, I was there. Five decades later, I still am. In the autumn of 1981 I had a phone call. ''Allo. This is 'Arvey,' growled the voice at the other end. 'Would you be interested in taking on the PR for The Stones?' There was only one 'Arvey: Harvey Goldsmith, the legendary promoter who practically invented stadium rock in the UK. And definitely only one Stones. I was by then running my own agency Modern Publicity - Keith had been incredibly supportive as I'd set up a business promoting punk bands, the up-and-coming artists of the era whose music I loved. The Stones didn't really fit into my vision at all. But my answer, obviously, was 'Yes'.
